The well-renowned Boa Kwon (21), aka BoA, has a new album, The Face which has hit number 1 in Japan.

This is Boa’s 6th album to reach the top spot on Oricon’s Weekly Charts since her debut in 2001. However, if you include her Best of Soul album released in 2005, that’s a record of 7 number 1 albums. That is more than any other Japanese artist. BoA’s album, The Face sold 111,000 copies in a week, which made her a little short from claiming the top spot just yet.

BoA is from South Korea, but also appeals to the Japanese market.

Fang Dao-long, aka Charles Chan, celebrated his 93rd birthday with son Jackie Chan, and grandson Jaycee Chan, on 15 December 2007, Hong Kong.
