Celine Dion has been forced to cancel several concerts in Australia. She is following her doctor’s orders, after she came down with a throat infection. And for a singer, if it's too serious, it can end her career, though it's kind of past due. Ooops.
Her publicist said:
"Her doctor has instructed her to rest for an additional 48 hours in order to be fully recovered."

Seems like 'Pop Princess' Britney Spears has taken a trip to boring-ville and by saying that I don't mean it in a bad way.
The recovering mother of two had a dentist's appointment in the Valley and was accompanied by her wonderfully protective security details.

Jackie Chan’s Father Passed Away&#...
Fang Dao-long, aka Charles Chan, celebrated his 93rd birthday with son Jackie Chan, and grandson Jaycee Chan, on 15 December 2007, Hong Kong.
On 25 February 2008, with Jaycee at his bedside, Fang passed away.
Unfortunately, Jackie was working in Beijing at the time of Fang's death.
The family plan to take Fang's body back to his home in Australia, where he will be buried with his wife and Jackie will be flying
