It seems Robert Pattinson got his part as Edward Cullen in the Twilight series because he was British enough and Beverly Hills 90210 star Dustin Milligan wasn’t.

Ethan was dropped after the first series of the American teen show, but he still tried his luck auditioning for Twilight and FAILED. He said, “Unfortunately, I didn’t have a British accent, so, I didn’t get the job.”
